A small group coach supports and equips small group leaders by providing encouragement, guidance, accountability, and prayer while helping them lead their groups effectively.
How often should I check in with my small group leaders?
Small Group Coaches are expected to connect with their leaders weekly during a given small group semester. Regular communication helps build relationships and ensures ongoing support.
What if I don’t know how to answer a leader’s question?
It’s okay not to have all the answers. Offer to pray with them and seek guidance from the Small Groups Pastor to provide accurate information.

How do I handle a struggling small group leader?
Listen to their concerns, offer encouragement, and work with them to find solutions. Pray for and with them, and guide them to helpful resources.
How can I help leaders handle conflict within their groups?
Coach them to address conflict directly, lovingly, and in a timely manner. If needed, contact the Small Groups Pastor.
What should I do if a group isn’t meeting consistently?
Check in with the leader to identify challenges. Offer strategies or support to help them reestablish consistency. If necessary, contact the Small Groups Pastor.
